Java is a versatile programming language expressly created for use in the distributed environment of the internet. It is the most effective and high standard programming language for latest Smart technology devices.
The Java programming language was developed by Sun Microsystem knows as the Green Team, who initiated language in 1991. The language was originally called OAK, and it was mainly designed for handheld devices and set-top boxes. OAK was not meet the user expectation and in early 1995 Sun Microsystem changed the name to Java and modified the features of the language to take advantage of the World Wide Web.
Later, in 2009, Oracle Corporation acquired Sun Microsystem and took ownership of Java.
